If you’re considering a Disney wedding, you already know there are plenty of reasons to say “I do” with Mickey and crew. The Disney staff is top notch, your guests can enjoy the parks before and after the big day and it’s a fantastic way to incorporate a little (or a lot) of magic into your wedding day.
But if you’re not totally sold on the usual Disney wedding venues at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, like the pavilion at the Grand Floridian or The Rose Court Garden at the Disneyland Hotel (as beautiful as they are, they’re not quite right for every style of wedding), we’ve got some help. We asked Michelle Smits from Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons to share her favorite lesser-known spots for Disney weddings.
She showed us ceremony and reception venues that would fit any style of bride or Disney wedding – and there were quite a few that even we weren’t aware of. And as Michele points out, the great thing about Disney weddings is just how customizable they are.
“The beauty of getting married with us here at Disney is that you can say ‘I do’ at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, have a reception at The Living Seas Salon and then end the evening with a dessert party and fireworks at Italy Isola!” she said. “The possibilities are endless.”
Read on to learn more about Michele’s slightly off-the-radar Disney wedding ideas and tell us: Which would you choose for a fairy tale Disney wedding?
